Pour les artistes de Pintura Fresca, la peinture abstraite est
un "process" bien que tout à fait ancré dans un contexte historique.
Après cent ans de cette histoire, nous considérons l'abstraction
comme une tradition vivante qui concoit elle-même l'histoire
et y mèle la voix unique et l'esprit des artistes contemporains.
En tant qu'artistes nous ne répétons pas l'histoire mais nous évoluons
à partir de celle-ci. Nous considérons l'abstraction pas tant comme un art
en fin de vie mais comme étant l'un qui a été volontairement
et pour un certain temps ignoré par les puissants de l'art mondial.
Ils ont cessé de regarder et ne peuvent donc pas voir que la proposition
d'une peinture sereine (calme) est plus utile et nécessaire qu'elle n'a jamais été.
L'abstraction est l'antithèse de notre vécu haletant, brillant, éclatant.
C'est le poul (PULSE) que l'on remarque difficilement et qui pourtant est vital
à la santé de notre société.
